One of the highlights of the NANOTEXNOLOGY 2016 is the BUSINESS FORUM with the START-UP AREA. Strategically located at the Exhibition Center of the "Grand Pietra Hall", where EXPO 2016 takes place, this integral and popular space will be a focal point for visits from local and worldwide delegations and individuals, consisting of potential collaborators, partners and investors. The event will take place during NANOTEXNOLOGY 2016 on 5-7 July 2016.

All the Start-Up Presentations will take place during the coffee-breaks in the form of 10 minute oral presentations.

NANOTEXNOLOGY 2016 Business Forum and Start-Up Area form a powerful and high-end platform to foster your maximum exposure and enable business development opportunities for innovative start-up companies. In the framework of Business Forum, Start-Up competition will take place giving the opportunity to be awarded for the best Start-Up Presentation!

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE:

Whether you participate in EXPO 2016 as an exhibitor or not, you will have the opportunity to apply to participate in the Start-up Competition, presenting your company and innovative ideas! You can find below all the important information regarding registration fees for the Start-Up Area and Competition.

In case you register for the Visitor Option you will get the following perks:

• Access to EXPO16 and Start-Up Area
• Participation to Business Forum and Start-Up Competition
• Access to Conference's Presentation of your choice for the particular day (ISFOE16 or NN16)
• Access to Coffees and Lunches during the particular day

IMPORTANT: In case that you will pay ON-SITE, an ADDITIONAL COST of 50 Euros applies on all the above prices.
There is a refund of 75% of the registration fees until May 31, 2016. After May 31st, there will be no refunds.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

As a first step, you are kindly requested to register and submit an abstract via a special online form you will find below. The presentations will be then reviewed by the Start-up Area Committee who will select the companies to participate at the Start-Up Competition. Please note that time slots for the Presentations during the Business Forum are limited and will be allotted on a "first come first serve" basis. The winners of the Competition will be formally announced during the event and will be given an Award for the best Start-Up Company Presentation.
